SAET is an Italian company operating internationally that offers solutions for high-voltage electrical networks, electrochemical storage systems and customised solutions (Operation & Maintenance, after-sales service, automation). It has always operated in the name of technological diversification and a strong commitment to innovation, thanks also to the prestigious collaboration with the University of Padua.
The world around us is constantly changing and SAET has always been evolving. A history marked by key moments.
SAET was founded in 1956 as an electromechanical company.
At the end of the 1980s it became part of the Techint Group, which gave it its working method, its ability to handle and deliver turnkey projects, and its international vision.
In 1993 SAET underwent a management buyout, whereby its leaders are now some of the shareholders and have technical and managerial responsibility for the company.
Since 2005, integrating power, protection and control, SAET has started to build several turnkey High Voltage Stations up to 500kV, offering the complete package with civil works included, in Italy and abroad.
In 2012 SAET entered the energy storage systems market as a system integrator of different electrochemical technologies with hundreds of MWh installed worldwide.
In 2021 SAET became part of the Nadara group (formerly Renantis group), which controls 60% of the company.
SAET plays an important role in the energy transition, for a more sustainable, modern and future-oriented world for the younger generations.
