The Odebrecht-Tecnimont-Estrella consortium, building the Punta Catalina thermoelectric plant (2x376MW), entrusted SAET with the turnkey project of the two 345kV and 138kV stations. The 345 kV station was designed in a 1 and a half circuit breaker configuration., two transformer bays (voltage 345/22 kV – power 425 MVA). The Protection and Control System is integrated with a SCADA system for each of the two SS. Commissioning was carried out exclusively by SAET personnel.
